In the American colonies, each passing year intensified the tension between British Monarchy and its colonial subjects. With every English attempt to impose taxes in the colonies, the colonists grew more defiant and more determined to oppose the "subversive" actions of Parliament. The Townshend Acts levied further taxes but were repealed. The Boston Massacre in 1770, the Boston Tea Party of 1773, and the punitive Intolerable Acts imposed on the city of Boston portended the imminent American conflict.

Serving as a colonial representative in England, Franklin was busy enough. Nevertheless, in 1773, with the colonies in an uproar, Benjamin was forced to answer to some charges leveled against him. The accusations stemmed from some letters written by the royal Governor of Massachusetts, Thomas Hutchinson, that the wise Philadelphian had intercepted through a network of informants and contacts. In his correspondence, the royal governor criticized the Massachusetts Assembly and denounced the colonial view that they deserved the same liberties as English subjects. Franklin passed these letters along to Thomas Cushing, speaker of the Massachusetts Assembly. Cushing, in turn, distributed the letters to Samuel Adams, a leading Massachusetts patriot. Adams, recognizing the letters' potential value to the revolutionary cause, had Hutchinson's harsh words published. Within days, the colonists rallied and called for the immediate dismissal of Governor Hutchinson. In England, Parliament was outraged that these confidential letters made their way to the New England press. In the eyes of the British government, Benjamin Franklin bore the brunt of the blame. He was ordered to obtain a lawyer and appear before the Lord's Committee of His Majesty's Privy Council for Plantation Affairs. Although Franklin was officially charged with stealing the letters in order to become the next Governor of Massachusetts, the real motive behind the accusations was to punish Benjamin for inciting the colonial independence movement through the distribution of Hutchinson's correspondence. At the age of sixty-eight, Franklin was required to stand an hour and a half in Parliament in the face of all of these ridiculous allegations. To further complicate the situation, various members of Parliament berated the Philadelphian and humiliated him by inviting all of England's most noble ladies to the parliamentary hearing. Franklin remained silent throughout the ordeal and, with the hearing's conclusion, walked out in a calm manner, refusing to present a defense. The day after his appearance, a letter arrived informing Franklin of his dismissal from the post of deputy postmaster general. It was this blow that seemed to affect Franklin most deeply. He had always taken pride in how he conducted postal affairs in the colonies.

Indeed, these were difficult times for the senior Franklin. Yet more sorrow was yet to come. In December of 1774, his wife, Deborah, died of a stroke. Tragically, Benjamin had not seen her since 1764 and was not even aware that she was ill. With her death and with his humiliation before Parliament, Franklin boarded a ship in 1775 and headed for the colonies. The unsuspecting British never realized that Benjamin Franklin was due to exact a little revenge. Parliament had made the mistake of alienating one of the greatest minds of the eighteenth century. The censure in Parliament transformed Franklin's perceptions. He was no longer a British American. Rather, he was merely an American.

AMERICA BEGINS

The American Revolution was the political upheaval during the last half of the 18th century in which thirteen colonies in North America joined together to break free from the British Empire, combining to become the United States of America. They first rejected the authority of the Parliament of Great Britain to govern them from overseas without representation, and then expelled all royal officials. By 1774 each colony had established a Provincial Congress, or an equivalent governmental institution, to form individual self-governing states. The British responded by sending combat troops to re-impose direct rule. Through representatives sent in 1775 to the Second Continental Congress, the new states joined together at first to defend their respective self-governance and manage the armed conflict against the British known as the American Revolutionary War (1775–83, also American War of Independence). Ultimately, the states collectively determined that the British monarchy, by acts of tyranny, could no longer legitimately claim their allegiance. They then severed ties with the British Empire in July 1776, when the Congress issued the United States Declaration of Independence, rejecting the monarchy on behalf of the new sovereign nation.

The war was fought in three theatres: At sea, warships and privateers of both sides attacked each other's merchant ships. The British blockaded the Atlantic coast of the U.S. and mounted large-scale raids in the later stages of the war. Both land and sea battles were fought on the frontier, which ran along the Great Lakes and Saint Lawrence River and separated the U.S. from Upper and Lower Canada. The South and the Gulf coast saw major land battles in which the Americans destroyed Britain's Indian allies and defeated the main British invasion force at New Orleans. Both sides invaded each other's territory, but these invasions were unsuccessful or temporary. At the end of the war, both sides occupied parts of the other's territory, but these areas were restored by the Treaty of Ghent. In the U.S., battles such as the Battle of New Orleans and the earlier successful defense of Baltimore (which inspired the lyrics of the U.S. national anthem,The Star-Spangled Banner) produced a sense of euphoria over a "second war of independence" against Britain.

New rally cry: Don’t submit!

Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., has a message for the Americans people: Do not submit to “Obamacare,” the massive health-care reform bill President Obama just signed into law.

“I want to let people know that we hear you,” she told WND. “We want this bill repealed, too, and we’re not just going to roll over and accept Obamacare. We’re not going to roll over and let Nancy Pelosi have her way because it was just a handful of Democrats leadership that pushed this bill onto the backs of 300 million Americans. We don’t have to accept this.”

While Bachmann explained that she is not advocating civil disobedience, she said people must not give into apathy and believe the health-care bill cannot be overturned.

She was the first lawmaker down on the floor this week as she eagerly presented H.R. 4903, a one-page bill to repeal the Democrats’ health “reform.”

Asked whether the health-care bill really has a chance of being repealed, Bachmann replied, “It’s very difficult. I won’t put rose-colored glasses on.”

She cited a poll that revealed 76 percent of Americans disapprove of the job Congress has been doing.

Americans must prepare to take the fight to the polls this election, she explained, and they must vote for constitutional conservatives to make up majorities in the House and Senate.

“What we saw on Sunday evening was the results of November 2008,” Bachmann said. “Pure and simple, that’s what it was. We also will have our day of victory, but we have to focus on November 2010. It is all about choosing constitutional conservatives who have a winnable chance of getting elected.”

She added that the American people must also strategically select a strong presidential candidate in 2012.

“We can take no substitutes for our nominee. We cannot be fooled with someone who is conservative lite,” Bachmann said. “It has to be a bold, strong, constitutional conservative who we run for president, one who is strong enough to see this fight through of repealing Obamacare. We absolutely can do it.”

She called repeal of Obamacare a winning issue and the No. 1 concern that conservative candidates would be wise to embrace during their campaigns this year.

“We will continue to win this argument, and we’ll win at the ballot box in November if we continue to press our case from now until November,” Bachmann said confidently.

In light of the passage of the health reform bill – and the Democrats’ more than questionable tactics – she said it is more important than ever that Americans declare their health-care independence. Nearly 15,000 people have signed the Declaration of Health Care Independence at WND. Bachmann has received signatures from an additional 11,000 Americans and nearly 100 lawmakers in rejection of an unconstitutional Washington takeover of health care.

Speaker Pelosi And House Democratic Leaders Discuss Health Insurance Reform

Bachmann; Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa; Rep. Louis Gohmert, R-Texas, and other lawmakers drafted the Declaration of Health Care Independence and formally unveiled it on Jan. 27. The declaration is a commitment to protect the rights of the American people to make their own health decisions, reduce bureaucratic red-tape, decrease intergenerational debt and implement 10 common-sense principles for future health-care reform.

They presented the following 10 points of agreement in the declaration:

We, therefore, the People and Representatives of the United States of America, do solemnly Publish and Declare that health care reform, as a matter of principle, must: Protect as inviolate the vital doctor-patient relationship;

  • Reject any addition to the crushing national debt heaped upon all Americans;
  • Improve, rather than diminish, the quality of care that Americans enjoy;
  • Be negotiated publicly, transparently, with genuine accountability and oversight;
  • Treat private citizens at least as well as political officials;
  • Protect taxpayers from funding of abortion and abortion coverage;
  • Reject all new mandates on patients, employers, individuals or states;
  • Prohibit expansion of taxpayer-funded health care to those unlawfully present in the United States;
  • Guarantee Equal Protection under the law and the Constitution;
  • Empower, rather than limit, an open and accessible marketplace of health care choice and opportunity.

“The Declaration of Health Care Independence is a framework for going forward on health-care reform, something that we believe all Americans agree with,” Bachmann explained. “All 10 of those statements are items that the president himself said that his health-care reform would embrace.”

However, she said Obama’s statements were untrue because the health bill contains full federal funding of abortion and allows illegal alien access to taxpayer-subsidized health care because there are no procedures for verifying immigration status prior to receiving benefits.

Bachmann added that Obama was wrong when he said Republicans do not want health reform.

“The president was very rude and arrogant when he stated that Republicans didn’t have a plan,” she said. “Even the day before the health-care vote, he stated very rudely and very arrogantly that Republicans and those who didn’t vote for his bill wanted the status quo. That was patently false, and he knew that was false. We had more than 70 different proposals for health-care reform.”

She said true health reform would embrace the principles in that declaration. As for the Democrats’ passage of the health-care bill on Sunday, she said conservatives have a right to feel disappointed, but they must pull out all the stops in the upcoming months.

“What is at stake is the survival of the finest health care the world has ever known,” Bachmann said. “We want to be able to continue that. We don’t want to allow ourselves to devolve into a social welfare state, but that’s clearly the president’s intention for us.”

She added, “Now it’s up to us to fight for our country, just like those who have gone before us. We have to be up for the battle.”

That's the estimate the CBO arrived at. Like a used car dealer pricing a car at $9,999 instead of $10,000, the hucksters in Congress were anxious to get the official cost below the scary $1 trillion level at which things suddenly sound very unaffordable. Judge Lamberth has been served with both the Super Jury and Super Jury II Presentments.

The most important criminal charge listed in the Presentments is Obama’s “eligibility” fraud.

Obama is not a “natural born” citizen as REQUIRED by Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution:

No person except a “natural born” Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President..

Judge Lamberth’s very first Order ruled, “although Presentments are constitutionally permitted, there is no authority under the Rules of Criminal Procedure.. to accept one.” The Order was shortlived as American Grand Jury responded to Lamberth that the Rules of Criminal Procedure simply don’t apply to Constitutionl Grand Jury Presentments. The Judge backed off.

Judge Lamberth’s Second Order then granted leave to “file” the Presentments with the court and furthermore indicated that ONLY the Attorney General [meaning Eric Holder] could approve such a prosecution. At this point the Judge was really reaching. American Grand Jury answered with a firm response, “we don’t file Presentments, we serve them.” We have “served” Judge Lamberth’s court and it is now his responsiblity to hear the Presentments. We strongly challedged Judge Lamberth in his allegation that the Attorney General could intervene in such a prosecution. For the Attorney General to intervene would be tantamount to a serious “conflict of interest.”

So where do “we the people” now stand in regard to the Judge Lamberth’s court?

It has now been over two months and the Judge has refused to do anything. American Grand Jury submitted our Response to the Second Order and the Judge has yet to answer it. This is now a pure situation of stonewalling. “When in doubt, do nothing” must be what the court is thinking. At this point the Judge’s Oath to the People and the Constitution is significantly in question.

It is now necessary that we respond to the Judge in the form of a “letter of grievance.” We are requesting that the Judge quit ignoring the people and do his job.

WASHINGTON (AP) – Some congressional Republicans are threatening a filibuster to block confirmation of a federal appeals court nominee because of his religious rulings. But they won’t get the support of Indiana GOP Senator, Richard Lugar.

In 2005, Judge David Hamilton ruled that the Indiana House of Representatives could not open its sessions with prayers that mentioned Jesus Christ or used terms like “savior.”
Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions noted that Hamilton was willing, however, to allow a Muslim cleric to offer invocations that mention Allah.
But fellow Republican Richard Lugar of Indiana, who supports Hamilton, said the judge was simply allowing use of the Arabic word for God in non-sectarian invocations.
Sessions noted that Judge Hamilton also prohibited placement of a menorah in a public building.
A key vote on Hamilton’s nomination to a federal appeals court is expected today.

A number of pro-family groups have spoken out against Hamilton.

Along with concerns about the prayer issue, they point out that he has been a vice-president of the Indiana chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union and has been a fundraiser for the controversial ACORN group.

9/11 was neither the first nor the last time that Muslims have killed Americans on U.S. soil in terror attacks. In fact, since that day, Muslims have killed at least 52 people in 31 separate acts of terrorism in the United States (by the standards that Muslim-American groups set for hate crimes). Perhaps more importantly, there have been quite a few planned mass murders of Americans by Islamic terrorists that were thwarted by the FBI, law enforcement and overseas intelligence operations both before and after 9/11.

By contrast, Muslim-Americans do not appear to be in any special danger from murderous (non-Muslim) religious fanatics, even in a nation awash in firearms. Identity groups, such as CAIR, whine incessantly about relatively trivial incidents while turning a blind eye to the horrible violence that is meted out daily in the name of their religion. This distasteful petulance offers insight not only into the character of Islam, but also the impressive religious tolerance that Americans manage to maintain.

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D) ended the morning today shuffling papers in silence at the head of an empty table, as Republican senators boycotted Day 1 of her panel’s markup of historic climate legislation.

“This is an opportunity. I ask my colleagues to show up. We’re going to be extremely patient. We’re going to be here. We’ll take some time to wait for our friends,” said Chairwoman Boxer, at the end of the aborted morning session of the Environment and Public Works Committee.

But if Republicans prolong the boycott, she hinted that Democrats, with a five-seat majority on the panel, are prepared to go on without them. “We’re not going to be deterred. We’ll do our work. It’s our job. We’re going to follow the committee rules to the letter,” she said.

ALEXANDRIA, VA. — A former aide to Sen. Barbara Boxer was sentenced today to five years in federal prison for receiving child pornography.

Jeff Rosato, 32, of Arlington, Va., who was remanded into custody after pleading guilty in January, must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III said at a hearing in Alexandria, Va.

“He lost everything he worked so hard to achieve up to this point in his life. Rosato is keenly aware of the consequences of his actions and the new choices he must make for himself and his future from this point forward,” Lavonda Graham-Williams, an attorney for Rosato, wrote in a sentencing memorandum in which she asked the judge to impose the minimum sentence of five years.

Federal prosecutors sought a sentence of between 6 1/2 years and just over eight years.

Judge Unseals Indictment Against Barbara Boxer’s Legislative Aide – Bernie Ward

The case is one of two federal investigations with connections to Boxer.

Boxer’s nephew, Noel Gillett, 44, of Oakland was indicted by a federal grand jury in San Francisco on April 14 on charges that he threatened to kill an FBI agent and hurt an employee of Boxer who he believed was plotting to have him killed. Gillett has pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail.

Gillett also said he believed Oakland police were trying to kill him and that he would be protecting himself if he killed police officers, authorities said.

That rule allows the committee chairman to bypass the requirement that at least two members of the minority are needed to constitute a quorum. Republicans call it a “nuclear option” that will undermine committee traditions and put a bipartisan bill out of reach.

Partisan fireworks are exactly what Democratic leaders had hoped to avoid.

Last month, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R) of South Carolina became the first Republican to endorse the Senate version of the climate bill. On Wednesday, he and Sen. John Kerry (D) of Massachusetts expect to meet with Obama administration officials to work out compromises in the Kerry-Boxer climate bill to expand bipartisan support.

Republicans are calling for a “full economic analysis” of the Kerry-Boxer bill, including the impact on jobs, consumers, ratepayers, families, and small businesses in various parts of the country.

“This bill will have an unprecedented impact on our national security, economy, environmental and energy needs. For that reason, members should have a full understanding of what this means for their states and constituents,” said Sen. George Voinovich (R) of Ohio, who read a statement outlining GOP reasons for the boycott at the top of Tuesday’s markup and then left.

In a speech to a joint session of Congress this morning, German Chancellor Angela Merkel told Congress that there was “no time to lose” in the fight against global warming. “We need an agreement at the climate conference in December in Copenhagen,” she said. “That requires the readiness of all countries to accept binding international commitments.”

“I’m confident that bipartisan support will win the day,” said freshman Sen. Tom Udall (D) of New Mexico, after the speech. “Senators who believe that climate change is real will not abandon the debate for too long. The stakes are too high,” he added.

So far, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has produced a 38-page “discussion document” of Kerry-Boxer that Republicans say doesn’t resolve their concerns.

“Madam Chairman, Ohio can’t afford to lose any more jobs. So for the sake of workers in my state and elsewhere whose jobs are hanging in the balance, slow down, take a deep breath, let EPA do what it needs to do, and let’s come back in four to five weeks and have a markup,” Senator Voinovich said. “Otherwise, you will do great damage to the traditions of this committee and make it harder to reach a bipartisan compromise on climate change legislation.”

Boxer countered: “EPA has made it clear they stand behind the economic analysis and that it is more analysis than is typically provided before a markup.”

At the chair’s request, EPA officials were to appear Tuesday afternoon for a question and answer session with panel members on the bill. Republican senators say they expect to boycott this briefing, too.

“We don’t want another briefing. We want the analysis,” says a GOP aide.

Dr. King said, “The rate of infant mortality among Africans is double that of whites and there are twice as many Africans dying in Vietnam as whites in proportion to their size in the population.” In Iraq, 6% of the deaths are African-Americans yet African-Americans make up 12% of the population. When compared to the war against children in the womb, 37% of all abortions are African-Americans or more than 3 times the percentage of representation. 52% of all African-American pregnancies are ended tragically through abortion.

When I read of Martin’s deep concerns over the infant mortality rate in the 60s, what would Dr. King say if he could have lived in a nation where 16 million African American infants were victims of the abortion industry? Even if you take into consideration AIDs, violent crimes, accidents, cancer and heart disease, this number would not account for half the amount of infants killed in the womb by abortion. What would Martin Luther King say to a nation where an African-American baby is 5 times more likely to be killed in the womb than a Caucasian baby? Where do we go from here, and what will it look like when we get there if Obama’s agenda comes to fruition?

The Truth about the Flu Shot!

1. What’s in the regular flu shot? 

•Egg proteins: including avian contaminant viruses 

•Gelatin: known to cause allergic reactions and anaphylaxis are usually 

•associated with sensitivity to egg or gelatin 

•Polysorbate 80 (Tween80™): can cause severe allergic reactions, 

•including anaphylaxis 

•Formaldehyde: known carcinogen 

•Triton X100: a strong detergent 

•Sucrose: table sugar 

•Resin: known to cause allergic reactions 

•Gentamycin: an antibiotic 

•Thimerosal: mercury is still in multidose vials 


2. Do flu shots work? 

Not in babies: In a review of more than 51 studies involving more than 

294,000 children it was found there was “no evidence that injecting 

children 6-24 months of age with a flu shot was any more effective than 

placebo. In children over 2 yrs, it was only effective 33% of the time in 

preventing the flu. Reference: Vaccines for preventing influenza in healthy 

children." The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews. 2 (2008). 


Not in children with asthma: A study 800 children with asthma, 

where one half were vaccinated and the other half did not receive the 

influenza vaccine. The two groups were compared with respect to 

clinic visits, emergency department (ED) visits, and hospitalizations 

for asthma. CONCLUSION: This study failed to provide evidence that 

the influenza vaccine prevents pediatric asthma exacerbations.

Not in children with asthma (2): “The inactivated flu vaccine, 

Flumist, does not prevent influenza-related hospitalizations in 

children, especially the ones with asthma…In fact, children who get 

the flu vaccine are more at risk for hospitalization than children who 

do not get the vaccine.” Reference: The American Thoracic Society’s  105th 

International Conference, May 15-20, 2009, San Diego. 


Not in adults: In a review of 48 reports including more than 66,000 

adults,  “Vaccination of healthy adults only reduced risk of influenza 

by 6%  and reduced the number of missed work days by less than one 

day (0.16) days. It did not change the number of people needing to go 

to hospital or take time off work.” Reference: “Vaccines for preventing 

influenza in healthy adults." The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews. 

1(2006). 


Not in the Elderly: In a review of 64 studies in 98 flu seasons, for 

elderly living in nursing homes, flu shots were non-significant  for 

preventing the flu. For elderly living in the community, vaccines were 

not (significantly) effective against influenza, ILI or pneumonia.

3.  What about the new Swine Flu shot? 

•A new report from a WHO advisory group predicts that global 

production of vaccine for the novel H1N1 influenza virus could be as 

much as 4.9 billon doses a year, far higher than previous estimates. 

•The report says that vaccine makers are expected to produce 

about 780 million doses of seasonal flu vaccine for the northern 

hemisphere's 2008-09 flu season for the 

June 12 Announcement: 

•The new H1N1 (swine flu) vaccine is going to be made by 

Novartis. It will probably be made in PER.C6 cells (human 

retina cells) and contain MF59, a potentially debilitating 

adjuvant. 


MF-59 is an oil-based adjuvant primarily composed of 

squalene, Tween 80 and Span85. 


•All oil adjuvants injected into rats were found toxic. All rats 

developed an MS-like disease that left them crippled, dragging 

their paralyzed hindquarters across their cages. 

•Squalene caused severe arthritis (3 on scale of 4). Squalene in 

humans at 10-20 ppb (parts per billion) lead to severe immune 

responses, such as autoimmune arthritis and lupus.

Federal health officials will probably recommend that most 

Americans get three flu shots this fall: one regular flu shot and 

two doses of any vaccine made against the new swine flu strain.

superintendents around the country, urging them to spend the 

summer planning what to do if the government decides it needs 

their buildings for mass vaccinations and vaccinating kids first.

4.  Is Mandatory Vaccination Possible? 

•1946:  US Public Health Service was established and EO 9708 (Executive 

Order) was signed, listing the communicable diseases where quarantines 

could be used. 1946 and 2003, cholera, diphtheria, TB, typhoid, 

smallpox, yellow fever, & viral hemorrhagic fevers were added. 

•April 4, 2003:  EO 13295 added SARS to the list. 

April 1, 2005:  EO 13295 added “Influenza caused by novel or re-emergent 

influenza viruses that are causing, or have the potential to cause, a pandemic.” 

EO 13295 also: 

•The president gave the Sec. of HHS the power to quarantine, his or 

her discretion. 

•Sec of HHS has the power to arrange for the “apprehension and 

examination of persons reasonably thought to be infected.” A cough 

or a fever could put a person at risk for being quarantined for an 

extended period of time without recourse. 

•January 28, 2003: Project BioShield was introduced during Bush’s State of the 

Union Address. This created permanent and indefinite funding authority to 

develop “medical countermeasures.” 

•The NIH was given authority to speed approval of drugs and vaccines. 

Emergency approval of a “fast tracked” drug and vaccine can be 

given without the regular course of safety testing. 

•December 17, 2006: Division E: The Public Readiness and Emergency 

Preparedness Act was added as an addendum to Defense Appropriations Bill 

HR 2863 at 11:20p on Saturday night, long after House Committee members 

had signed off on the bill and gone home for the holidays. Section (b)(1) 

states: 

•The Sec of HHS can make a determination that a “disease, health 

condition or threat” constitutes a public health emergency. He or she 

may then recommend “the manufacture, testing, development, 

administration, or use of one or more covered counter measures…” 

A covered countermeasure defined as a “pandemic product, vaccine 

or drug.” 

•Division E also provides complete liability protection for all drugs, 

vaccines or biological products deemed a “covered countermeasure” 

and used for an outbreak of any kind. 

•Complete liability protection has been given to drug companies for 

any product used for any public health emergency declared by Sec of 

HHS. 

•Pharma is now protected from all accountability, unless “criminal 

intent to do harm” can be proven by the injured party. They are 

protected from liability even if they know the drug will be harmful. 


4.  What can I do? These are just a few suggestions; please come up 

with more of your own! Add to this list and spread the word. 


•Give this information to everyone you know and love. 

•Contact local first responders (EMTs, Paramedics, Fireman, etc). Tell 

them what is will be in the flu shots and that “they” will be the first 

ones to get it. 

•Contact local police and discuss concerns about mandatory 

vaccination. You go to church and to the grocery store with these 

folks and their kids play with your kids. They are not "scary" people. 

Take them coffee and a treat to get in the door... ! 

•Contact local city council members about your liberties. You need 

their support to maintain your right to refuse. 

•Write a small article for LOCAL, community newspapers. Watch for 

samples on www.DrTenpenny.com 

•Have at least 3 weeks of food and water at your house and be 

prepared to voluntarily self-quarantine of given no other options. 

Stock up on Vitamin D3 (3000IU per person), Mixed carotenoids, Vitamin 

C (buffered), etc and beta-1,3/1,6-glucan (an immune stimulant that targets cellular immunity, the most effective against flu virus)

Beta 1,3 glucans are transported across the intestinal cell wall into the lymph where they begin to interact with macrophages to activate immune function. Studies have verified that both small and large fragments of beta glucans are found in the serum, indicating that they are absorbed from the intestinal tract.

Beta glucan is a polysaccharide derived from the cell wall of baker's yeast, oat and barley fiber, and many medicinal mushrooms, such as Reishi, Shiitake, and Maitake. Analysis of material by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention by Dr. Russell Blaylock. (September 5, 2009)


Critical Observations:


•Doctor visits for flu are down from the level in April

•Total flu hospitalizations are similar or lower than for seasonal flu (yearly flu)

•The number of death secondary to flu and pneumonia is unchanged from yearly rate

•Only two states are reporting widespread infections—Georgia and Alaska. Other states report only regional or sporadic activity, meaning it’s not very contagious.

•There is no evidence that the virus has mutated at all anywhere in the world

•The virus remains susceptible to the drugs Tamiflu and Relenza.

•Only 43,771 cases have been reported in the United States. Because of poor reporting the CDC estimates that true numbers indicate that one million have been infected. Many people did not get sick enough to go to a doctor. Likewise, not all people are tested who go to a doctor.

•Of these 5,011 have been hospitalized and 302 have died.


Death Rates From the H1N1 Flu


•If we use the 43,771 figure and 302 deaths that means the death rate is 0.6%, an extremely low death rate for any flu.

•The percentage of hospitalized patients who died was 6%, again a very low incidence of death.

•Since the CDC estimates that one million have been infected, we must recalculate death rates. Using this more accurate figure, the death rate is in truth 0.03%, which means 99.97% will not die from this flu. Your chances of dying are incredibly low.


Age and Death Rates


We hear a lot about the unusual age distribution with this virus, especially as regards death rates, with the young being more affected than, as with seasonal flu, the elderly (90% of deaths are usually among those greater than 65 years old). The risks of becoming infected are as follows:


•Ages 5 to 24 y/o--------26.7 per 100,000 (0.027%)

•Ages 0 to 4 y/o ---------22.9 per 100,000 (0.023%)

•Ages 25 to 49-----------6.97 per 100,000 (0.0069%)

•Ages 50 to 64 y/o------3.9 per 100,000 (0.0039)

•Over 65 y/o-------------1.3 per 1000,000 (0.00013%)


And the risk of needing to be hospitalized are:


•Ages 0 to 4 y/o---------0.0045%

•Ages 5 to 24 y/o--------0.0021%

•Ages 25 to 45 y/o------0.0011%

•Over 65 y/o-------------0.0017%


This indicates that for all age groups, the risk of being hospitalized are far less than 1% and well over 99% of people will not need hospitalization. This explains why this infection is being downplayed by the virologists themselves, the ones who know most about the dangers of viruses.

The distributions of death also vary considerably by age. Below is the distribution of deaths according to age.


•Ages 25-49 y/o---------41%

•Ages 50 to 64 y/o-----24%

•Ages 5 to 24 y/o------16%

•Over age 65 y/o------- 9%

•Ages 0 to 4 y/o-------- 2%


So, we see that the greatest death rates in the extremely small fraction that die are between ages 25 to 49 and 65% are between ages 25 to 64. The least likely to die are babies up to age 4 years, yet they are targeted for vaccination and as we see from the above data, children below age 2 years get absolutely no protection from the flu vaccines.


Analysis of the New Government Projections to the Media


If we analyzed it according to the worst case scenario released by the government we see far lower figures than being projected:


They say 150 million Americans will be infected. That is 150 X as many now infected and represents a much larger figure than now estimated with a 6 to 6.5 % of a localized population. For the United States itself with a population slightly over 300 million, their figures indicate a 50% infection rate. There is nothing to indicate such a high infectivity rate from the past 7 months of analysis. It should also be appreciated that the infections will not occur all at once, but will slowly evolve, as we have seen thus far, meaning that at any one time a much smaller Americans will be infected—which also reduces the numbers who will require hospitalizations at any one time and who will need ICU care.


As far as the number that will need hospitalization, the Government now says there will be 1.8 million people hospitalized, of which 300,000 may need ICU treatment. If we use the existing data we see that the numbers are quite different. At the time the data was taken, 303 people out of one million infected died and 5,011 needed hospitalization. This means a projected hospitalization incidence of 750,000 and a death rate of 45,000 deaths. Remember, this is using their data applied to the outrageously high figure of 50% of the population being infected—that is, 150 million people.


If the infection rate is 6%, as all the studies have shown thus far, we see much smaller numbers. Instead of 150 million infected we see 18 million infected. Using these more realistic figures we can estimate a hospitalization rate of 90,000 and a projected death incidence of 5436.


Again, it is important to keep in mind that the infections will be evolving and not all at once as both sets of figures seem to imply. If we spread this over several months and waves of the infection, we see that at any one time the hospitalizations will be a much smaller number, as will the deaths. Thus far, there have been nationwide 2000 hospitalizations a months and 99 deaths a month. Certainly the hospitals in the United States can handle the increase. In the United States we have 5,759 hospitals containing 955,000 beds and 70,000 ICU beds. Most hospitalized people will not require intensive care. Most are suffering from dehydration and only require IV fluid infusion.


It should also be appreciated that most pediatric deaths and elderly deaths will occur early in the epidemic because the chronically ill and immune suppressed will become infected early. Therefore one would expect the deaths to rise initially and then fall as the infection spreads as we see from this graph:

In this chart we see that the hospitalization rates are actually lower for the swine flu than in previous seasons.

We can see from the CDC’s own data that the hospitalization rates and death rates are no higher, in fact they are significantly lower, than the previous two to three flu seasons. It is obvious that the Government is using “scare tactics” to promote vaccine use in the United States and that the pharmaceutical makers of vaccines are in bed with these officials. The public should be outraged.


Why do some die from such a mild virus?


As stated by the virologists, this virus is no more a danger than the seasonal virus that visits each year and seems to be much weaker. One may also note from the CDC’s own data, the previous nonsense about 36,000 dying from the seasonal flu every year is pure fiction. We have had a little over 400 deaths nationwide over the past 5 months, nowhere near the 36,000 figure screamed from the airwaves and our TV sets, yet the public is in a state of panic.

So, why are some dying from this virus? What is little understood by the general public is that the only reason people die from the flu is that they have either an immune suppressing chronic illness, such as diabetes, direct immune dysfunction, dietary deficiencies of critical immune-supporting nutrients, chronic pulmonary disease, heart disease or a cancer.

Smoking powerfully suppresses immunity as well as damages the lungs and we know that smokers are much more likely to suffer complications and die than non-smokers. Excess dietary omega-6 fats (corn, safflower, sunflower, soybean, peanut and canola oils) also severely weaken immunity. The EPA component of omega-3 oils also powerfully suppresses immunity.

A study by the CDC found that 32% of the children dying from H1N1 flu had asthma, when the incidence of asthma in the general population was 8 percent. Two thirds of the children who died had neurological disorders, such as seizures and cerebral palsy. So, the vast majority of children who are dying have one of a number of chronic health conditions, yet the media gives us the impression that perfectly healthy children are dying.

A recent study of why so many died during the 1918 flu pandemic found that most of the deaths were secondary to bacterial pneumonia and not the flu virus itself. In 1918 hospitals had little to offer a sick patient—there were no antibiotics, other than sulfur drugs, no IV fluids and no respirators—all they could offer was a warm bed and aspirin.

It was also disclosed that the number of flu-related deaths among children was lower this year than the previous two years.


What are the virologists saying?


Virologists are scientists who study viruses—their classification, their genetics, methods of spread and their ability to cause disease. No one knows more about this virus than the virologists. The British science magazine, The New Scientist, recently polled 60 virologists to get their opinion. These are the results of specific questions:

Notice there was no mention of taking the swine flu vaccine. Behind the push to vaccinate the entire population are the pharmaceutical makers of the vaccines, who are working in conjunction with the government to make the vaccine mandatory. Homeland security and FEMA are pushing for forced vaccinations and the medical experts, virologist and epidemiologist are calling for calm and resorting to voluntary vaccination only. The former have links with the vaccine manufacturers via political contacts. A great deal of money will be made by the manufacturers, should forced vaccinations be mandated.


Will this vaccine be tested?


According to Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, 5 tests are planned. It is not clear as to the use of the squalene adjuvants, ASO3 and MF-59. Because of concerns raised, the FDA is now hedging. Independent studies of squalene used as a vaccine adjuvant indicates that it is associated with a very high incidence of autoimmune diseases, such as an MS-like neurological syndrome, rheumatoid joint disease and especially Lupus.

The developer of MF-59 is Chiron pharmaceuticals, which was purchased by Novartis pharmaceutical company, who will be the main supplier of the swine flu vaccine for the world. According to Dr. Fauci, testing in both children and adults will be without this adjuvant and he admits that we have no data on the safety in children.(See Nature Vol 460/30 July 2009, p 562 for the interview.)

There are 5 tests scheduled for safety before mass vaccinations will resume. I looked up on clinicaltrials.gov the actual studies being done. It is instructive to note that the only studies actually being done do not contain any adjuvant (the immune booster) either for babies or adults. Yet, when the mass vaccinations begin, the vaccines will have adjuvant added, possibly squalene.

The real irony here is that this is the same bait and switch game they played in the 1976 swine flu vaccine disaster. They tested one vaccine and gave a different one during the mass vaccinations. Here we go again. Over 500 people were paralyzed with Guillain Barre disorder. The incidence was much higher, because it was not a reportable disease. And over 300 people died, which is also a very low figure.

Dr. Fauci admits that they have no idea what will happen when they mix the three viruses from the vaccines together or when they are given sequentially. When he was asked if the results of the studies would be reviewed by the health authorities, he answered, yes, except for those done by the Novartis company. He justified this secrecy by saying that Norvartis had a very advanced testing system, which was done “in-house”—that is, in secrecy.

It is also important to appreciate that this vaccine has been fast-tracked, meaning that many of the usual safety precautions used to prevent contamination of the vaccines will be overlooked by the regulatory agencies. According to a number of studies, vaccine contamination is widespread, with vaccines containing pestivirus, mycoplasma, viral fragments, DNA fragments and bacterial components, all of which can produce chronic systemic disorders, cancer, neurologic diseases and even slow brain degeneration.



The Following was composed by Dr. Russell Blaylock as a method to reduce autoimmune reactions to the flu vaccines only. Do not use this if you have the flu itself. These are just general observations and not medical advice. You should work with your doctor for a specific program.


Treatment for Toxic Vaccine Exposure

1.Place a cold compress on the site of the injection immediately after the injection and continue this for at least two days. If symptoms of fever, irritability, fatigue or flu-like symptoms reoccur—continue the cold compresses until they abate. A cold shower or bath will also help. 

2.Take fish oils—I recommend the Norwegian fish oil made by Carlson Labs—it has the correct balance of EPA and DHA to reduce the cytokine storm. The dose is one tablespoon a day—if severe symptoms develop—two tablespoons a day until well and then switch to one tablespoon a day. Children—one teaspoon a day. 

3.Curcumin, quercetin, ferulic acid and ellagic acid as a mixture—the first two must be mixed with extravirgin olive in one teaspoon. Take the mix three times a day (500 mg of each) 

4.Vitamin E (natural form) 400 IU a day (high in gamma-E) 

5.Vitamin C 1000 mg four times a day 

6.Astaxanthin 4 mg a day 

7.Zinc 20 mg a day for one week then 5 mg a day 

8.Avoid all immune stimulating supplements (mushroom extracts, whey protein) except beta-glucan—it has been shown to reduce inflammation, microglial activation and has a reduced risk of aggravating autoimmunity, while increasing antiviral cellular immunity. 

9.Take a multivitamin/mineral daily (one without iron—Extend Core) 

10.Magnesium citrate/malate 500 mg of elemental magnesium two capsules three times a day

11.Vitamin D3:

1.All Children—5000 IU a day for two weeks after vaccine then 2000 IU a day thereafter

2.Adults—20,000 IU a day after vaccine for two weeks then 10,000 IU a day thereafter

3.Take 500 mg to 1000 mg of calcium citrate a day for adults and 250 mg a day for children under age 12 years. 

12.Avoid all mercury-containing seafood

13.Avoid omega-6 oils (corn, safflower, sunflower, soybean, canola and peanut oils)

14.Blenderize parsley and celery and drink 8 ounces twice a day

•This flu is transmitted mostly by physical contact rather than by being exposed to coughing by infected individuals. You can use a hand sanitizer and clean commonly used surfaces, such as computer keyboards, telephone speakers, countertops and door handles with sanitizer cloths. 


•Avoid exhaustion and extreme exercise, both of which lower immunity and greatly increase one’s risk of serious reactions to the infection and even death. Get at least 8 ours of good sleep each night.


•Avoid foods that suppress immunity, such as high sugar intake and consuming foods or cooking in oils that suppress immunity and increase inflammation—such as the omega-6 oils—corn, safflower, sunflower, canola, peanut and soybean oils.


•Avoid excessive intake of omega-3 containing EPA (anything over 100 mg per serving). EPA is a powerful immune suppressant, even though it reduces inflammation. This increases your risk of getting infected and having difficulty clearing the infection. The DHA component of the oil does not appreciably suppress immunity, but significantly reduces inflammation.


•If you are exposed to people in high-risk situations, such as in crowded offices, theaters, airplanes and other forms of public transportation, take beta-1,3/1,6 glucan 250 mg every other day. It is to be taken on an empty stomach with any liquid. If you began to feel ill, take the beta-glucan every day until your illness clears and then every other day for one week afterwards.


•Take a well-balanced vitamin/mineral. I like Extend Core (www.vrp.com). This will supply you with all the vitamins needed to support immunity, which is especially important for those over age 50—the age of nutrient-based, aged-associated immune suppression. Take the vitamin capsule with each meal.


•Vitamin D3. Children and pregnant women should take 2000 IU a day and adults should take 5000 IU once to twice a day. You should also take 500 mg of calcium citrate a day.


•Mixed Tocopherols (Vitamin E) that is high in gamma-tocopherol, the anti-inflammatory form of the vitamin. The dose is 400 IU a day.


•Buffered vitamin C 1000 mg three times a day taken on an empty stomach to prevent excess iron absorption. One should avoid taking iron supplements during infection, since it worsens the infection.


•Curcumin 250 mg and quercetin 250 mg dissolved in one tablespoon of extravirgin olive oil. This greatly reduces inflammation and autoimmune development and has direct antiviral effects by inhibiting protein kinase C. Take the mixture three times a day with meals. It can be mixed with foods as desired.


•Avoid all fluoride products, such as fluoridated mouthwashes, toothpaste and fluoride treatments. Fluoride has been shown to increase flu virus budding, making it easier to produce more virus within your body. It is also a cellular toxin.


•Avoid other sources of mercury, such as contaminated seafoods and other mercury-containing vaccinations. Dental amalgams, in my view, should be removed by a specially trained dentist (see www. IAOMT.com for a list of such dentists). Mercury greatly increases one’s risk of developing an autoimmune disease and suffering from neurological damage.


•Avoid smoking. Smoking damages the protective cells lining the lungs and nicotine is a very powerful immune suppressant. This is also true for nicotine patches and gums.


•Keep well hydrated. Drinking several glasses or cups of strong white tea (either as iced tea or hot tea) a day also reduces viral growth and protects the lungs against viral and bacterial damage.


    •Eat a diet containing at least 5 servings of high-density fruits and vegetables, both raw and cooked. Avoid a high intake of breads and other high-glycemic foods. Avoid excessive red meats and eat more chicken and turkey that is organically raised.

OBAMA'S ACORN, LAUNDERING OF AMERICA'S MONEY: Lawsuit Dismissal In 15 Minutes Or Less!

I will keep this simple.  Here is the text of the suit, which is brought under the MD Wiretap Act. The suit alleges that Andrew Breitbart, working in concert with O’Keefe and Giles, intercepted an “oral communication” using an electronic device, which would indeed be a violation of the act.  The problem, however, is that the statute specifically defines “oral communication” in section 10-401(2)(i) as: “any conversation or words spoken to or by any person in private conversation.”

What this means, as established by the clear text of the statute (and Maryland caselaw,including Fearnow v. Chesapeake & Potomac Tel. Co. of Maryland, 342 Md. 363 (Md. 1996)) is that at least one of the parties to the conversation must have had a reasonable expectation of privacy in the conversation. In other words, if someone stands up in the town square and shouts out loud and someone else records it, that is not a violation of the act.

The problem for ACORN is that, as a matter of law, the employees at ACORN had no reasonable expectation of privacy in what they said to members of the public who entered their offices.  As made clear by Katz v. United States and its progeny (made applicable specifically to the Maryland Wiretap Act by cases such as Malpas v. State, 695 A.2d 588, 595 (Md. Ct. Spec. App. 1997)), “What a person exposes knowingly to the public, even in his own home or office, is not a subject of Fourth Amendment protection.”

Get that? The conversations in question were knowingly exposed in a place of business to two customers who walked in off the streets. There is and can be absolutely no expectation of privacy for the ACORN employees in question.  As such, the conversations are not “private conversations” under the Maryland Wiretap Act as a matter of law.  I found all this in a matter of 15 minutes on Lexis.  I’m sure another 15 (which I don’t have) will find numerous directly applicable precedents under Katz that are completely factually indistinguishable from the present case.  In other words, this case is so totally without legal merit the very filing of it is almost sanctionable.  And putting “they had a reasonable expectation of privacy” in the complaint is not enough for this claim to survive summary dismissal; the court does not have to accept conclusory statements and legal conclusions.

Furthermore, to the extent that ACORN wants to go after Breitbart (and I hear they are wanting to go after Fox next!) for publishing this information of clear public concern, they might want to check the First Amendment jurisprudence of the United States Supreme Court on that question before getting themselves in further trouble.

Two more ACORN officials were fired Friday after a second video surfaced showing staffers in the community organizers’ Washington office offering to help a man and woman posing as a pim p and prostitute acquire illegal home loans that would help them set up a brothel.

The firings came less than 24 hours after another pair of ACORN officials from the group’s Baltimore office were canned for instructing the “pim p” and “prostitute” how to falsify tax forms and seek illegal benefits for 13 “very young” girls from El Salvador that pair said they wanted to import to work as child prostitutes.

Both of the encounters were videotaped on a hidden camera wielded by 25-year-old independent filmmaker James O’Keefe, posing as the pim p — tapes that have ignited calls for investigations of ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.

The group’s leaders said Friday they were “appalled and angry” at what their staffers had done, but insisted the videos were part of a political “smear” campaign and not representative of the institution as a whole.

“But that does not excuse the behavior of the employees,” wrote ACORN’s president Alton Bennet and executive director Mike Shea. “We have fired them and are initiating an internal review of practices and reminding all staff of their obligation to uphold the highest legal and ethical standards.”

Rep. Charles Boustany, R-La., called for a hearing to investigate ACORN’s tax filing assistance programs following the release of the videos he said suggested multiple incidents of tax fraud.

“In light of the apparent flagrant and willful attempts to suborn tax fraud, I … (am seeking) a hearing of the Oversight Subcommittee of the House Ways and Means Committee as soon as practicable to investigate ACORN’s activities,” he said Friday.

O’Keefe, the filmmaker, was accompanied by 20-year-old Hannah Giles, who posed as a prostitute. On a videotape of their visit to ACORN’s Washington’s office, they are seen receiving guidance to establish the woman as the sole proprietor of a bogus company to mask the nature of her business.

“She’s not going to put on (the loan application) that she’s doing prostitution … she doesn’t have to,” a now-fired ACORN staffer says. “You don’t have to sit back and tell people what you do.”

The ACORN staffer is heard suggesting that O’Keefe can purchase a house, and as the landlord, if he is ever questioned by authorities, he can say he was unaware of the illegal business going on inside.

“[W]hen the police ask you, (tell them) you don’t know where (the money is) coming from,” the staffer said. “We are looking out for you.”

The ACORN employee later suggests that O’Keefe, who said he had a budding political career, not linger at the house in case people “put the dots together” and leave him “smeared and tarnished” by his association with his prostitute girlfriend. She should keep her business “low key,” the employee continued, saying “You have neighbors and they see stuff. Don’t think that people won’t get on the telephone and call Fox.”

One day before the Washington video was shot, O’Keefe and Giles sought help from ACORN workers in Baltimore, who told the pair how to falsify tax forms and seek illegal benefits for 13 “very young” girls from El Salvador that they said they said they wanted to import as prostitutes.

As he did in the taping in Baltimore, O’Keefe told the Washington officers that he had plans to bring as many as 10 women from El Salvador to work as prostitutes in Giles’ “business.”

“There’s like 10 girls,” O’Keefe says. “There’s ten El Salvodoreans.”

The ACORN staffer replies, “I understand what you are saying.”

ACORN — the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now — calls itself a network of families “working together for social justice and stronger communities,” according to its Web site.

The organization has been accused by conservatives and Republicans of committing fraud in voter registration drives around the country, and reaction to the videotape came swiftly after its release on Thursday.

“Taxpayers should be outraged that their money has gone to an organization that, in addition to facing charges of voter fraud and tax violations, is willing to facilitate prostitution,” said Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa.

“As this video confirms, ACORN continues to operate as a criminal enterprise.”

The first videotape, made in the Baltimore offices of ACORN, was made public Thursday on the political blog Big Government.com. That night, after portions of the video were aired throughout the day on FOX News, the group fired the two women who assisted O’Keefe and Giles in Baltimore.

The following article is the most qualified and articulate evaluation of ObamaCare extant on the web, having been written by an MD who is an expert on health care cost containment. It has been circulated by viral email and republished in many places. To ensure giving our readers an uncorrupted original, I requested a copy from the author. He very kindly responded within an hour of receiving my request this afternoon. His following statement is of life-and-death importance to every US citizen. Read this, and share it as widely as possible.

THE OBAMA HEALTH CARE PLAN – IN ONE WORD

As a physician who has authored books on Preventative Health Care and Health Care Cost Containment, I was recently given the opportunity to be the keynote speaker at a Congressional Dinner at The Capitol Building in Washington D.C… The presentation, entitled Health Care Reform; The Power & Profit of Prevention was well received.

In preparation for the presentation, I read the latest version of “reform” as authored by The Obama Administration and supported by Speaker Pelosi and Senator Reid. It is important to realize that The Obama Health Care Plan is comprised of two parts…..that’s right, not one but two parts.

The first part of The Obama Health Care Plan was buried in The Stimulus Bill which was signed into law by the President in February (see READ the STIMULUS). It is the second part of The Health Care Plan which is now being debated in Congress. Below is the link to the over 1000 page document….. Bill Text, Adobe PDF format.

Let me summarize just a few salient points of the two part Obama Health Care Plan. Warning……. They need to put the same warning on The Obama Health Care Plan as they do a pack of cigarettes…..Consuming this product WILL be hazardous to your health.

The underlying method of cutting costs throughout the plan is based on rationing and denying care, NOT PREVENTING health care need. The plan’s method is the most inhumane and unethical approach in cutting costs. The rationing of care is implemented through a Council, equivalent to the National Health Care Board in the British Health Care System. The name given to this panel is The Federal Coordinating Council For Comparative Effectiveness Research (”Federal Council”). (Section 9201 H.R. 1 Version of the Stimulus Bill.)

President Obama has already appointed the fifteen member Federal Council. According to the Stimulus Bill, p. 152, all members of the Council must be “senior federal officers or employees.” Thus, medical treatment will be dispensed by a group of bureaucrats from their ivory towers, not by the hands-on practitioners in the presence of the patients. The council was funded with $1.1 BILLION from The Stimulus Bill. (Source.)

“Comparative Effectiveness Research” is based on the formula of the approval or rejection of treatment for patients based upon the cost per treatment divided by the number of years the patient will benefit from the treatment.

According to former New York Lieutenant Governor and Health Policy Analyst Dr. Betsy McCaughey, the Federal Council will set a cost effectiveness standard for treatment. (Stimulus Bill p. 464) Translation…..if you are over 65 or have been recently diagnosed as having an advanced form of cardiac disease or aggressive cancer, dream on if you think you will get treated…..pick out your box. Oh, you say…this could never happen. Sorry….this is the same model they use in Britain.

The plan also empowers the Federal Council to create another level of bureaucracy, The Center for Comparative Effectiveness Research. (Health Care Bill, Section 1181, p. 502). The effect of this extra level of bureaucracy is to slow the development of new medications and technologies in order to reduce costs. How special is that!

The plan also outlines that doctors and hospitals will be overseen and reviewed by The National Coordinator of Health Information Technology.  This “Coordinator” will be responsible for monitoring treatments to make sure doctors and hospitals are strictly following what the government deems appropriate and cost effective, and to “guide medical decisions at the time and place of care.” (Stimulus Bill, p. 116; see also pp. 442, 446).

The Stimulus Bill goes on to say that hospitals and doctors that are NOT “meaningful users” of the new systems will face penalties.  The Secretary of Health and Human Services will be empowered to impose “more stringent measures of meaningful use over time.” (Stimulus Bill pp. 366, 478, 511, 518, 540, 541.) According to those in Congress, penalties could include large six figure financial fines and possible imprisonment.  According to the Obama Plan, if your doctor saves your life but breaks government protocol, you might have to go to the prison to see your doctor for follow-up appointments.  I believe this is the same model Stalin used in the former Soviet Union.

Section 102 of the Health Care Plan has the Orwellian title: “Protecting the Choice to Keep Current Coverage.”   What this section really mandates is that it is ILLEGAL for you to keep your private insurance if your status changes, e.g., if you lose or change your job, become a senior citizen, graduate from college and land your first job. Yes, illegal.  When President Obama was asked about this portion of his plan recently, his response was, “I am not familiar with that part of the plan.”

Obama hosted a conference call with bloggers urging them to pressure Congress to pass his health plan as soon as possible.

During the call, a blogger from Maine said he kept running into an Investors Business Daily articlethat claimed Section 102 of the House health legislation would outlaw private insurance. He asked: “Is this true? Will people be able to keep their insurance and will insurers be able to write new policies even though H.R. 3200 is passed?” President Obama replied: “You know, I have to say that I am not familiar with the provision you are talking about.”

Then there is Section 1233 of the Health Care Bill, devoted to “Advanced Care Planning.” After each American turns 65 years of age they have to go to a mandated counseling program that is designed to end life sooner. This session is to occur every 5 years unless the person has developed a chronic illness then it must be done every year. The topics in this government run session will include how to decline hydration, nutrition and how to initiate hospice care. It is no wonder the Obama Administration does NOT like my emphasis on Prevention. Under the Health Care Plan for cost containment, Prevention is the “enemy,” since people would live longer.

I rest my case….The Health Care Plan authored by Obama / Pelosi / Reid is hazardous to the health of every American.

In the question/answer session following my Capitol Hill presentation, a Congressman asked: “I am doing a number of network interviews next week on the Obama Health Care Plan.  If I am asked what is the one word to describe the plan, what should I answer?”

The answer is simple, honest, direct, analytical, and sad, but truthful. The word is FASCIST.
